About the Role:
Rosati's Pizza in Sleepy Hollow, IL is looking for a passionate and skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen team! If you love crafting delicious food in a fast-paced environment and take pride in every dish that goes out, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to Rosati's recipes and quality standards
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies before each shift
- Execute food prep tasks including chopping, slicing, portioning, and assembling ingredients
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout the shift
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and proper storage to minimize waste
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth, efficient service during peak hours
- Follow all food safety and handling guidelines in compliance with health regulations
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a line cook, prep cook, or in a similar kitchen role preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills
- Food handler certification is a plus
